About the Centre

The Energy Development Research Centre (EDRC) is a specialised research and service unit under the National Institute for Scientific and Industrial Research (NISIR). The Centre is dedicated to advancing energy research, environmental monitoring, and nuclear science applications for national development.

EDRC houses a Centralized Analytical Laboratory equipped with world-class instrumentation, offering precise analytical and consultancy services to government agencies, mining houses, research institutions, and private clients. Our work supports environmental protection, public health, and industrial compliance with national and international standards.
