The Reproductive tract of the

Dimensions of the reproductive and endocrine organs were corded in 10 mature
male goats at slaughter; gonadal and extra-gonadal sperm reserves were
determined and histological sections of the tests were measured for somniferous
tubules diameters. Fructose concentrations in seminal vesicles were prominent,
markedly lobulated and a combined average weight of 5.76 ± 0.52 g, and a
fructose concentration of 540 mg/100 g. The prostate glands appear diffuse and
disseminate while the cowpers were small. Average sperm reserves in one testis
was 9.4 x 109, and total testicle sperm represented 91% of the total sperm
