Ecological relations among small rodents inhabiting grasslands at Livingstone, Zambia, by E.N. Chidumayo, Zambia Journal of Science and Technology, Vol.4, no.1, January 1979, Pg. 12-20.

During the dry season (July-November) of 1976 small rodents were trapped in three neighbouring habitats near Livingstone in southern Zambia. Although 8 species were collected there were only 4-5 per habitat. Six of the species were confined to on or two habitats only. All species except one exhibited omnivorous habits and there was considerable overlap in body mass among them. Species distribution appeared to be influenced by soil type and availability of shelter.
